No, I hadn’t heard of Raymond Ching before. But thanks so much for suggesting him. I looked him up online and found his work lovely. I love finding new artists to admire.
You wouldn’t know it from looking at my recent work, but my favorite artists are actually Frida Kahlo and Rene Magritte. My favorite living artist is Hung Liu. And I’m very lucky that she is a local artist, whose work is being shown at the Oakland Museum of California right now. I’m going to her book-signing later this month.
