I think this was another bird I did on my lunch break with a reference book at the Oakland Public Library. I love that place.

Manx Shearwater

I’m pleased by the perspective on the beak and eye feathers.

I’m not sure I got the beak right on this one. They look longer in other pictures. He’s a shore bird, a thick-bodied wader.

Shorebird. I see these by the water often. They’re cute and hoppy.
